About the NDA Exam

The NDA exam is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to select candidates for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force wings. Candidates undergo a written examination, followed by an SSB Interview and medical examination.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality :

• Must be a citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee (arrived before 1st January 1962), or
• Person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intent to settle permanently in India.

Gender & Marital Status

Unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.

Age Limit

• Age must be between 16½ to 19½ years.
• For NDA 2 2025, candidates must be born between 2nd January 2007 and 1st January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
